So, what is Is Genesis History about?
This comprehensive documentary is a fascinating new look at the scientific evidence for the biblical account of Creation and The Flood – and it’s coming to venues across Ireland and Northern Ireland this April including Ranelagh Adventist Church!
GenesisPerspectives.info
We’ve created a website that will be our public front for this Is Genesis History documentary and this website is called “Genesis Perspectives”. You can visit the website by clicking the button below.
This website will be where we give basic information about the documentary and where the public are invited to register FREE for one of the screenings – by choosing the venue closest to them.
Who is it for?
This documentary is as much for our church members as it is for the public. So, what we’re doing across the Ranelagh & Drumcondra district of churches is that we’re going to be screening the documentary at least twice at the following times:
- Saturday 21st April, 4.30pm (after a shortened Dublin Royals Club Meeting so that our youth and young adults can attend)
- Saturday 28th April, 7pm
Church Members
We’re inviting CHURCH MEMBERS ONLY to the screening on Saturday 21st April at 4.30pm. There will be some snacks served after the screening as the documentary won’t finish until 6.15pm – it is 1 hour and 44 minutes in length. No registration for this screening is necessary.
The Community
We’re inviting MEMBERS WHO WANT TO BRING A FRIEND, ALL ELDERS, DEACONS & DEACONESSES, and VISITORS FROM THE PUBLIC to attend the screening on Saturday 28th April at 7pm. After this refreshments will be served. ONLINE REGISTRATION for this screening is necessary for both members who are bringing a friend and all of the public. Basically, if you’re coming on this date you need to register online!
We have also created a Facebook page which we’d encourage you to visit and “LIKE”.
We’d also be really happy if you would promote the event on your own personal facebook page.
To help you do this we’ve created some social media images which you can download at the bottom of this page.
Even though this might not seem like much, you’d be surprised how many people you know might ask you a question about this event. The other thing you could do is pin one of the advertising posters (which you can also download) to the top of your Facebook feed.
As a church one of the ways we are promoting this event to the public is through Facebook advertising.
Advertising Postcards
You can see the design of the postcards opposite. They will be given out to members at church tomorrow (Sat 14th) to distribute; but we’d also be really happy if you’d be willing to join us in distributing them around Ranelagh and Rathmines on 14th & 21st April, in the afternoon after the Fellowship Lunch. Please consider being part of this distribution team!
