Event: Baptismal Service. If the weather is nice we will also stay for a picnic – please bring your own food.
Location – Killiney Beach
Date/Time: the service will start at 12 midday on 7th August 2021
What to bring? Something to sit on (e.g. outdoor chair); your own food if you plan to stay for picnic lunch
How long? The service itself will be in the region of 1 hour. Plus then, the picnic afterwards together (weather dependant).

An invitation is extended to everyone who would like to come and join us for this special baptismal service – our first of 2 baptismal services. The following one will be an indoor baptism on Saturday 25th September at the Ranelagh Church.

General location – Killiney Beach
Where – on the beach?
From the main car park – either go down towards the toilets, then under the bridge, then turn right – and you’ll find us about 300m down the beach to the south, OR if you park at the top of the main car park cross the road follow the steps down onto the beach and then turn right – and you’ll find us about 100m down the beach to the south.
Parking
There are 2 car parks servicing Killiney beach.
There is a small free car park with 10-12 parking spaces (shown below). This is accessible from Strathmore Road. The entrance to the car park in shown below.
There is a much larger car park nearly oopposite Killiney DART Station on Station Road. There is a €3 per day parking fee which can be paid by cash, using the ParkingTag app, or card.
Other information
Toilets – there are toilets located in the main car park (here) across the road from Killiney DART Station.
If the weather is good it is advisable to arrive early as the car park can get full.
